Description

The Thomastik-Infeld Blues Sliders SL110 are designed for electric guitarists who want a warm, mellow, vintage-inspired tone with smooth response and musical harmonic character. Part of the Blues Sliders series, these strings use Thomastik-Infeld's silk inlay technology to soften and refine the harmonic content, giving your guitar a naturally sweet, expressive voice.

The SL110 set features nickel-plated steel round winding over a round core, providing a responsive playing feel and a balanced combination of warmth, clarity, and sustain. The result is a smooth, vintage-style character that works especially well for blues, roots, classic rock, and other styles where a warm and expressive guitar tone is essential.

With a 10–48 gauge configuration, the set offers a comfortable balance between playability and tonal substance, while the plain third string provides a familiar feel for expressive bends and traditional electric guitar techniques.

Best strings ever!

Been playing almost 60 years and I was a die hard D’addario guy. I still like them but these TI Blues sliders are a whole other level of string. They are heavier that a set of 10-46 but bend easier and sound fantastic. They take away the harshness that a Strat can sometimes get. Please note: if you have locking tuners you have to wrap the string around the tuner a minimum of 3/4 of a turn but better to do one to two turns around the post then lightly tighten the set screw. If you don’t, the wound strings will get crushed by the set pin. This works fine and they stay in tune with a bar. So far they are still sounding great after three weeks of playing. Obviously I like ‘em’!

I’ve got those Austrian blues…

Great strings- bought them by chance, were sitting in my drawer. Ran out of my usual set of 10’s so put these on. Wow- very good feel, long lasting, and consistent sound throughout the fretboard positions. Finally changed them after 3+ weeks of practice and gigging. Would use again. Tried to get a less expensive price via Amazon.de (Germany) but higher with shipping costs. Ditto via Amazon.uk. You get what you pay for and these strings are worth it when there’s extra cash around.

Awesome strings ~

I've been playing since 1962 and have used many, many different brands of stings over the years. For as long as I can remember I've used pure nickel wrap. None of the brands I've played ever made me take notice or stand out as anything special. I was intrigued by these for a long time but never considered spending this much on a set of strings. I'm glad I finally did. They have a wonderful feel and excellent tone. They definitely feel like they are a lighter gauge than .010 because they are so springy and easy to play. After getting my first set and being so pleased I ordered 4 more.
