Tough Mallet

Solid build! Been using it to beat mercilessly against a froe and it's still going strong. If you use it for carving it will last generations.

Have a 12 oz I have uses for 3 yrs on everything including steel base chisels . It has held up well This 30 oz should be just as good.

Sturdy and comfortable handle

I contemplated buying this hammer for a long time, finally decided to reward my wood shop and build efforts by purchasing one.
I definitely do not regret getting one as it helps with small and large scale furniture builds that require delicately stern motivation to get into position. Aka a knock with the mallet.
I appreciate the quietness when doing so and do not miss vibrations that would travel through an all wood mallet.
Getting my value out of this handy, low maintenance rubber mallet.

Brilliant Mallet - Wood Is Good 30oz

I have 3 of these mallets and use them for woodcarving. This one I use for my larger chisels from 50mm to 70mm wide. I have used wooden mallets since starting woodcarving some 7 years ago but changed to the Wood Is Good some 4 years ago. They stop the shock transmitting from the blows to the chisels and being PU heads protect the chisels as well. Highly recommend these mallets.

Feels good in hand

I have not used this yet but it feels nice in my hand and is well balanced. The extra weight should make work easier and less taxing on my arm.
